Therefore, I only want the best of the best, BUT I will work with some upcoming photographers if you're work is Hot!!

Honestly, I am not looking to become a local hood celebrity, instead I would like to be taken beyond the level of temporary URBAN notoriety!

Interracial: What is Really Being Said On Twitter?

Within the last month and a half, Interracial Love Magazine has worked on conquering Twitter.

Inside Twitter's 140 digit boundary, varied thoughts, opinions, and sentiments for and against interracial dating runs rampant.

I will say, for the most part, the response to white men and black women "swirling" (Twitter Lingo?) has been positive.

On the other side of the coin, there is a great deal of chatter about black men dating white women. What's funny is that as independent and indifferent black women are to certain subject matters, they appear actually affected to this "movement."

At ILM, we say "don't take it personal." Does that mean that we expect you to run into the arms of the first white guy who comes your way? No. We know that interracial dating is not for everyone. And if you would rather date and marry within your own race or ethnicity that is fine too.

Despite what appears to be a shortage of quality black men judging from the info we have read, there is still more than enough for you around.

"Interracial Love Magazine, I'm confused. I thought you would be encouraging us black women to explore interracial dating."

We are encouraging. It's just that we respect a woman's choice of who she wants in her life. We're not here to dictate that.

Recently, on Twitter, we received a response from someone who said, "how do you like being a consolation prize?" When we asked for clarification, we got "white men may be an alternative for some women, but not always a better alternative."

I'm OK with that. Really, I am. That twitter was entitled to her opinion. Black men do receive an excessive amount of negative press, and I respect that black women will feel a need to protect them.

But, you won't see that Interracial Love Magazine. Although we target black women and white men, we know that some of our material does catch the eye of many black male web surfers. Which is great. We welcome you to Interracial Love Magazine.

Interracial dating, relationships, sex, and love is a complex topic and requires a great deal of targeted, focused discussion from everyone who wants to be heard.

What sets Interracial Love Magazine part is that we may be the only site breaking down racial stereotypes from a white male's point of view. ( Well, for the most part. My partner is a black female. You can definitely distinguish her articles from mine....can't you???)

Interracial Love Magazine ranks among the top 185 k websites in the United States. And we are proud of that. So, we know people are reading us. Do we receive the most comments? No. Do we have the most subscribers? No.

But, we must be doing something right. And if we were not as popular, we would still do what we do. Why? Because we have to. It's that simple.

We will continue to defy racial stereotypes and break down barriers that prevent more interracial unions between black women and white men.

Stay tuned.
